GREEN SHIP BREAKING & RECYCLING
OlineGroup ship Recycling Services extends its expertise in association with ship-breakers and ship owners for the better Green world,- and continuously seeking sponsor to implement "Green Recycling “ procedures in Bangladesh, specially for proper health, safety and environmentally safe beaching practice.

In Bangladesh, beaching a ship or breaking the ship is not environmentally safe, while the responsibility for conditions in the yards lies with the countries in which they are situated, We at Oline, working in country to integrate professional for Green Ship ship recycling procedures that require a ship to be rigorously checked before it is delivered to a breaking yard. This involves conducting a radiation survey, auditing hazardous materials, and highlighting any parts of the ship which require particular care when being demolished.

We ensure that the facility has trained management and staff, as well as safety and environmentally aware procedures in place. These include tank cleaning, asbestos removal, refrigerant recovery, removal of hazardous materials, stripping and removing insulating materials, removal of all electric cables and wiring, as well as the removal of PVC piping and other plastics.

The planning, implementation and launch of this approach to ship recycling ensure minimization of environmental impacts of ship recycling i.e.; no oil spills, no discharge of toxic waste, proper dealing with asbestos, no burning of cables, proper refrigerant recovery, recycling of all recyclable materials and environmentally sound disposal of all materials.
Both internally and through third parties we offer a service to coordinate the recycling process from the last commercial port until the vessel is completely recycled. This includes i.e;

· Pre-inspection of the vessel, obtaining a "Green Passport", writing the ships recycling plan.
· Coordinate/negotiate the Sale & Purchase, control all documentation and payments.
· Supervise the pre-cleaning, waste handling and demolition at the scrap yard.
· Training of ship breaking workers.
